What changes when you finish the book
Guessing, and paying for it.
- More hair in the drain and no idea if it’s normal
- A shelf of serums, gummies and laser caps
- “Your blood tests are fine. It’s only hair.”
Deciding for yourself.
- Telling shedding from thinning with three checks you can do tonight
- A scorecard that rates every option and names who paid for the study
- An appointment worksheet that gets you a real diagnosis
Does any of this sound familiar?
None of that is vanity, and it isn’t “only hair”. The first step is knowing which kind of hair loss you have, because that decides what can help.
- Your part looks wider in photos taken from above.
- Your ponytail needs one more twist of the elastic.
- You’ve been told it’s probably stress, and that your blood tests are fine.
- You started a weight-loss injection, and then your hair started shedding.
- You’ve spent money on products and can’t tell if any of them did anything.
What the research says
Every key claim in the book carries a tag showing where the evidence comes from. Here are four of them.
women reported moderate or better regrowth in pooled trials of minoxidil on the scalp, the best-studied treatment, against 1 in 7 on placebo.
is when fullness tends to return after shedding, once the trigger has passed. Often no treatment is needed.
hairs a day is an ordinary amount to lose. Two questions matter more than any count: has it changed for you, and for how long?
covering nearly 8,000 people found a measurable hit to quality of life from pattern hair loss. It is not “only hair”.
Spend on what’s been shown to work
Procedures are expensive and rarely covered by insurance. The book rates each one before you pay, and helps almost everyone stop paying for things that were never shown to work.

Questions, answered
Will my hair grow back?
It depends on the type. Shedding after an illness, a baby or rapid weight loss usually settles on its own. For pattern hair loss, treatment can slow or stop the loss for many women, and about 1 in 4 saw moderate or better regrowth in trials. Nobody can promise the hair you had at 25, and this book won’t.
Does it recommend brands?
No. It has no sponsored content, no paid placements and no affiliate links. Brand names appear only when a study, a drug label or a regulator named them.
How long is it?
115 pages, as a PDF. It opens on any phone, tablet or computer. The tables and charts are easiest to read on a tablet or computer, or zoomed in on a phone.
